The high-polymer orthopaedic splint is constructed from multiple layers of water-curable polyurethane-impregnated knitted fiberglass and polyester fabric, fully enclosed within soft, breathable non-woven fleece padding. Activated simply by dipping in ambient water, it offers 3 to 5 minutes of workable sculpting time and reaches full rigid immobilization within 20 minutes. Providing twenty times the strength of traditional plaster at a fraction of the weight, it is completely radiolucent, allowing clear X-ray fracture monitoring without removal.
Beyond the core description above, High Polymer Splint is commonly specified for Emergency Room Acute Extremity Fracture Stabilization, Orthopaedic Outpatient Temporary Splinting, Post-Operative Surgical Limb Immobilisation. Align packaging, documentation and quantity with the receiving facility before confirming the order.
